Of course, it is possible for users to have at coding of this scenario
from scratch, but I'm thinking along the lines of being able to
leverage the optimizing capabilities of AB as they already exist
internally.

I don't know that MCP is actually the right way to approach this, but
with so much processing going on at once to achieve the goal, I can
imagine that having only a single processor on the job would place
undesirable limits what might be possible.
