Hello,
I use DTN IQ Feed, and previously eSignal for the data feed. I just
select the symbol for the future I want. They have continuous
contract symbols also, but for under 1 minute data the history is
limited to about a week. I collect 5 second data to build up a 24
hour database of several months. There is nothing special I do since
I only run indicator mode and do not use the other AB modes like
backtesting. I wrote what I wanted directly in AFL. There is not
really much different about futures than other equities except the
leverage. All that information is set up in the symbol information tab.
Use the help built into the program as a first line of information.
