I run AB on a the same setup you are considering buying but with Parallels 3.x. Works fine with no problems at all but don't expect the same performance you might get on, say, a dual core PC. But, unless you plan on doing some serious optimization or number crunching, the MB Pro will handle most AB tasks in a timely fashion. Someone else on this board also reports running AB on a MB Pro using Parallels with no problems.
