 memory test . also check if some screws is too tight or touching the motherboard adn creating short .I mean  
if there is a loose screw or nut somewhere which not fixed and circulating freely aorund the cabinet . 
 ..hhee i had one for a year nearly before i found out . luckily nothing happened to my mc .

 I think you have two or more ram modules in your machine . IF so then one of them may be failing temp . 
  
 Take each one out one at a time and check it out .

You might also want to try running chkdsk/f from a command prompt on  your suspect drive if you haven't done so already. Might catch and fix  some disk errors....but perhaps a replacement drive is a good idea.
