You may wish to investigate www.eoddata.com (free and paid 
subscription) which has reliable, accurate data for many exchanges. You 
will have to import the data yourself into amibroker, as AmiQuote does 
not work on this source of data.
Unfortunately, although Yahoo is quite easy and convenient to use, it 
is also not very reliable (as you have found out).
