Yes, I've had AB quit on me without any warning at the end of a 1-
year backfill (1-minute interval) of a single security. The backfill
lasted more than 3 hours and the data was received. However, after
AB quit, any unsaved data was lost. I repeated the backfill twice,
and the behavior was identical (the second time I was quick to save
the intermediate results:) ).
The ability to do 1-year backfills is a welcome enhancement to an
already great product. I am sure any problems possibly introduced in
the IB plugin 1.7.0 will be rectified in future versions.
My software versions are as follows:
AB 5.00.1
IB plugin 1.7.0
TWS 882.2
