[amibroker] Linked vs Unlinked indicators

Is my thinking correct in this situation?

I use channels that I want to encompass 95% of the price action.

Different markets require different co-efficients in order to make the
channel fit properly.

If I use the insert function instead of insert linked for the
indicator, am I then able to set different parameters for each market?
