Why does this not work...Can anyone help?

n = IIf(Cond1UP,0,
    IIf(Cond2UP,1,
    IIf(Cond1DN,2,
    IIf(Cond1DN,3,4))));
     
switch(n){
case 0:
      barcolor = colorGreen;
      break;
case 1:
      barcolor = colorSeaGreen;
      break;
case 2:
      barcolor = colorRed;
      break;
case 3:
      barcolor = colorPink;
      break;
      default: colorLightGrey;
      break;
}
