This should be more explanatory:
I overlay my system and in that pane I get the following:
PositionSize = MarginDeposit;
------------ --------^
Error 29.
Variable 'margindeposit' used without having been initialzed.
If I change sheets, every pane has a similar error message. For example in the second sheet there is a RSI it now states
Error 29.
Variable "actioncommentary' used without having been initialized.
Now I go back to the 5th tab, delete the indicator, go back to the first tab and close Amibroker, reopen it and everything in the first pane displays correctly. select tabs 1-4 everything is fine. click on the 5th tab, and all panes on all tabs go back to the same error messages, even though I deleted the indicator. If I right click and edit the formula, the system is still in there. This is different behaviour than I have experienced previously.
I hope this helps someone figure out what I am doing wrong.
James

Subject: [amibroker] Help!
I have been away from Amibroker for 6-8 months while I moved my company. Upon returning I upgraded to 5.00. Now when I try to overlay systems that were working prior to upgrading, they cause every pane in every in every tab to display error 29. These errors will all read like variable 'xxxxx' used without having been initialized. Here's the worst part: I right click on the pane I overlayed the system and select delete indicator and delete the system I overlayed. This does not fix the problem. If I close amibroker and restart, it will work fine unless I click on the tab that is causing the problem. If I click on that tab, same problem again, but I deleted the system. If I select edit formula, the system is still there. Can anyone tell me what I am doing and why it is different from when I was using 4.80 and never had this problem.
thanks,
James
