[amibroker] SetForeign() and MACD()

I trying to filter trades using MACD() for NYSE/NASDAQ indexes:

SetForeign("^NYA", True, True);
NYSE = MACD() > Signal();
SetForeign("^IXIS", True, True);
IXIS = MACD() > Signal();
RestorePriceArrays(True);
if (NYSE == 1 AND IXIS == 1) {
  // trading here
}

I get an error "Condition must be numeric or boolean type".
What am I doing wrong?
