One note: I don't want to leave the impression that I have anything against TechSmith products.
I think they are great and Camtasia for example has some very nice features (like SmartFocus).
I know that Richard (FTMonitor) is using Camtasia sucessfully for many years
for all conference videos. I mentioned other softwares just because they are cheaper and produce very compact files.
