Thanks for your suggestion Bill, but it does not seem to solve my
problem. All I want to do is compare the MA for the current bar and
the previous bar and then do something if previous MA is greater than
current MA. Like print "hai" as below - iif returns an array which I
am not able to pass to an "if"
periods = Param( "Periods", 30, 1, 200, 1 );
averages = MA(Close, periods);
this = Ref(averages, 0);
prev = Ref(averages, -1);
Cond1 = WriteIf( this >= prev, "up", "down" );
if (Cond1 == "up"){
printf("hai");
}
