Maybe I screwed this one up from the beginning...but I recently
purchased a Vista based laptop and did a simple full copy from a
separate backup drive that I use with my Windows XP machine. (i.e. I
back up my full Amibroker file to an external hard drive from which I
then copied it over to my new Vista laptop.)
Anyway, I tried to use Amiquote and can not get Amibroker to recognize
Amiquote in the tools menu and when I try to launch "Quote" and update
the database I get the error message "Local File Can not Be Opened"
and the rest just time out. I've checked to see if my software keys
are loaded and they appear to be so. In addition, I've tried to change
all the folder permissions to not be read only, but they keep
reverting to read only after I change them.
Any suggestions?
