I was planning on using the CategoryAddSymbol function to add custom
ticker names but have just realised that it won't add the name to a
watchlist unless there's some underlying data for it.
However I can manually add symbols without data if I right click on a
watchlist and use Type in Symbols...

Is there anyway to add custom names to a watchlist through code?

My goal is to create a ticker for each trade in a backtest so that I
can simply up and down arrow through the watchlist to view that trade.
I will then use start and end date data in the ticker name to
zoomToRange on that trade.
This is much quicker and easier than double clicking from the AA
window and then scrolling to find the trade.
