That depends what aqd.format file you are using.

If there is

$OVERWRITE 1

flag in that file, the long name will be overwritten from Yahoo data.

If there is no such flag, long name won't be overwritten.

I can't figure out what I did but all the long names in my list of tickers has changed to what looks like defaults from Yahoo. This DB is local and imports yahoo EOD data with AQ. Last update performed before noticing the problem was yahoo current. Then computer shut down overnight and this AM, new long names for each ticker.

 

What happened. How do I fix it?
