Not sure if many people are using odbc but I thought I'd ask and find
out.
I have put a bunch of fundemental data into an access database and I
link it to an explore so when I run an explore I get columns showing
me fundmental data (like eps, sales figures, etc). Works fine.
I have added another table in my access database to record notes
about selected stocks and to save a cut/paste summary of what the
cmopany does (in 100 words of less).
When I specifically run the scan against 1 stock that I know has data
in these fields; everything works fine.
When I run the scan against a group of stocks, things crash when it
hits a stock with empty / null text field and the addtextcolumn line.
For numerical data I have used a formula using the iif statement to
set it to zero if it is blank and this has worked.
I have tried everything I could think of to tell it to just print a
blank if it is blank but I continue to get error messages doing this.
I have emailed support but have not heard back yet so I thought maybe
someone here would have an idea of something I could try.
Thanks
