[amibroker] AmiQuote Symbol Translation

Perhaps I do not understand the intention of the AmiQuote Symbol
Translation function.

I am importing some irregular yahoo tickers symbols (ex.: bbi-b) and
would like to convert them to more regular symbols (ex.: bbi  b).  I
have created a translation table as defined in AQ (ex.: bbi-b,bbi  b).
 My problem is nothing happens.  Under all circumstances, AQ completes
the import as per the yahoo standard ticker definition bbi-b.

What am I missing?
