[amibroker] Re: Google web accelerator case - don't install "accelerators".

I just found this older message about IQFeed backfill problems caused
by web accelerators and toolbars.

I've been having problems too but I don't (to my knowledge)have any
accelerators or toolbars running. Question: Is there a list of the
software that can cause problems?

My problem is that I'm trying to backfill the maximum amount of 1
minute data. It's my understanding this is supposed to be 12 months
worth of data from IQFeed. My problem is I get the maximum amount of
data if I do "Force Backfill" on an individual stock basis but I still
don't necessarily get the entire 12 months. Rather, I sometimes get
about 8 months (which today takes me back to Feb. 21, 2007), other
times I do get 12 months (Nov. 15, 2006 in today's case) but other
times I only get 2-3 months worth of data.

So that's one problem.

Another problem is if I check "Wait for backfill" in Automatic
analysis and do a scan or backfill, the amount of data I get seems
almost indeterminete, ranging from a few hundred bars all the way up
to the full 12 months worth.

I am running the latest version of the IQFeed plugin (dated October
26, 2007). Running Windows XP Pro.

Any ideas?

Dan
