[amibroker] opening ab session when one is open already

If i have a ab session open and i try to open a new one programatically
it does a lot of flashing of the iqfeed plugin and opens it in the same 
instance. Is this normal. 
Why does it have to do the flashing of the plugin and how do i avoid it
 application = WIN32OLE.new("Broker.Application")
 application.visible=1
 application.loadDatabase("E:\\Data\\Stocks")  #load the database
