Hello,
I have an AmiBroker database comprising of around
1500 stocks which I would like to assign to specific Groups. Using Visual Basic
and AmiBroker Object Model / COM, I would like to assign GroupID to each of
these stocks by reading from external text file (each file contains a list of
stocks for that specific Group).
In the object model, to assign a stock to a
specific group, the GroupID property of that Stock object should be
set accordingly. So,
1) Is it possible to get the list of Groups (by
name) and their corresponding GroupID ? For example, can I find out whether a
Group by the name "Optionable Stocks" exists and if yes get its corresponding
GroupID ?
2) If this Group does not exist, then is it
possible to programmatically create such a Group and retrieve its GroupID for
subsequent use ?
I could not find any documentation for creating /
renaming new Groups etc - so wondering if there are any tricks for the
same.
Thanks in advance,
Adheer.
