Just take it one step at a time and convert your words
into AFL. For example:
upbar = iif(macd(x, y) > ref(macd(x, y), -1) and
macd(x, y) > 0, 1, 0);
downbar = iif(macd(x,y) < ref(macd(x,y), -1) and
macd(x,y) > 0, 1, 0);
and similar for negative bars. Then define
colors:
barcolor = iif(upbar, colorred, iif(downbar,
colorwhite, iif(upbarnegative, colorblue, colorgreen)));
plot(macd(x,y), "", barcolor,
stylehistogram);
