[amibroker] How-to use Optimize() and Param() in the same script?

Hello,

I would like to use Optimize() and Param() commands inside the same
script, unfortunately I did not get it running. AB uses always the
default values of the last command, e.g. with:

x = Param("x", 5, ...);
x = Optimize("x", 5, ...);

the parameter setting is ignored during backtest. and with:

x = Optimize("x", 5, ...);
x = Param("x", 5, ...);

the optimizer will always calculated the same result for each step.
I thought to use Status("action"), but it seems that it is not
possible to distinguish between OPTIMIZATION and BACKTESTER because
they have the same status code.

Has anyone an idea how to implement such thing?

Thanks in advance and best regards,
Markus
