Open watchlist tree, right click on a watchlist, add watchlist, sort alphabetically.  As I recall, there was an issue with the sorting function but believe it was fixed.

I deleted a watchlist recently ... and now my watchlist names do not correspond to the watchlist number originally assigned to. When I try to access a watchlist from AFL, the original number has shifted and AFL sees a different watchlist than the one I want.

 

Is there a way to insert a watchlist in a particular place in the list / or sort the watchlist names alphabetically?
