[amibroker] Need Help with New Computer Workstation - Repost and snipped prior responses

Many thanks to everyone, including a great fellow who sent me a PM.   This is a joint effort, and the configuration reflects your great suggestions and advice.

 

Here’s the latest configuration.   I’d like to finalize and order by Thursday.  Please take a look, especially the questions.

OS – Windows XP

 

Processor – (1) Intel Core 2 Duo - E6700 2.66GHz 2MB (LGA775): http://shop.hdnw.com/product.aspx?n=CP-INT923C.  Very fast and a bit pricey.

 

Memory – (4) 1Gb Corsair memory sticks.  Either the “Dominator 2GB 1066 (PC2 8500)” (PN: TWIN2X2048-8500C5D) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145043 or the “DOMINATOR 2GB 800 (PC2 6400)” (PN: TWIN2X2048-6400C4D).   I’m not sure which is appropriate, but both have $40 off rebate (ends Saturday 6/30).   Suggestions on this? 

 

Motherboard – (1) Asus P5W64: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131047.  Andy sold me on this guy.  Very fast, flexible, full featured, and FOUR PCI-E slots.  Great expandability.   This is the one!  ;-)

Video Graphics Cards – (2) XFX GeForce 7300 GT / 512MB GDDR2 / PCI Express / Ultra-Silent Cooling / Dual DVI / HDTV:  http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2902958&Sku=P450-7896.  $99.99 less $30 (Rebate ends 6/30).   Will four of these guys fit into an Asus P5W64 MOBO?
