[amibroker] Amibroker freezing

I have recently moved to an area that has frequent network dropouts of
greater than a 2 minutes. I use Amibroker version 4.90.5 on Vista with
the IQFeed plugin for intra-day data.

When in scanning mode, and the network is out for about 2 minutes, I
get a message from Vista stating my application has stopped
working,and it stops scanning until I restart amibroker. I scan every
15 seconds on 1 minute data.

Has anyone come across this before? Is there a timeout that anyone is
aware of, that I can increase? My old internet service also had
dropouts, but briefer in length, and this problem never occurred.

Or should this be the nail that makes me ditch Vista and go back to XP
(I don't know if it doesn't happen in XP, but it may be worth a try).
