It's NOT about the DELAY, millisecond or otherwise in RT data ... 
It's about the MISSING data in your approach ... 

In life to a large degree you are what you eat ... For trading 
systems it's really no different ... what they eat is data ... You 
can have your system eat the carbs i.e. little snapshots of where the 
market is at this moment and be fat, dumb and happy while hoping for 
the best or you can give it what it most likely needs i.e. a balanced 
diet of all there is to know ...

Personally when I have real dollars on the line I want all the 
information I can get from the most reliable source(s) i can get it 
from.  It's a minor cost of doing business much like having a PC and 
a development / trading platform is ...
