[amibroker] How to backup Amibroker files to another computer ?

Hi, I have Amibroker ver 4.96 installed on both my desktop and notebook.
I do some research on notebooks but only trade from the desktop AB.  
The stuffs in the notebook is somewhat messy , so from time to time, I 
would need to backup the desktop AB contents ( 
formulas/formats/databases,  etc. virtually everything ) to the 
notebook .   Previously I simply copy all the files in the "Amibroker " 
directory of my desktop to the "Amibroker" directory of the notebook 
through a home WAN network.

But from AB ver 4.96, I found some files can not be transferred with 
two computers, and I have this question:  What is the safe method for 
backing up Amibroker programs/datas between two computers ?
