[amibroker] Re: Is it possible to send an email from javascript?

Dingo.

I had a look at that script, and it seems easy enough. I then began
looking at how to use gmail as my SMTP server, which it seems can be
done using smtp.gmail.com at port 465:

However, it seems that gmail expects the email client to have SASL
authentication implemented to punish spammers. It seems every language
has implemented this except javascript. I've spent half of this
morning googling, and haven't been able to find anything.

Any ideas?
Paul
