Well, here is an example that I use to copy old Titles to a new Gfx pane:

       PaneBackGroundColor = ParamColor("Pane background",colorDarkGreen );

       PaneTextColor = ParamColor("Pane Text",colorWhite );

       PaneFontSize = Param("Pane Font Size",10,8,20,2);

       SetChartBkColor(PaneBackGroundColor ); // This ought not to be needed...

       pxwidth = Status("pxwidth");

       pxheight = Status("pxheight");

       GfxSetBkColorcolorDarkGreen );

       GfxSetOverlayMode2 );

       GfxSetTextColor( PaneTextColor);

       GfxSelectFont"Lucida Console", PaneFontSize, 1000);

       GfxDrawTextTitle55, pxwidth, pxheight, format = 0 );

There are many options, you should read the latest beta documentation to see what applies to your needs.

Graham,

Thanks for the suggestion of using GFX functions; I think that is only available in beta and not a part of AmiBroker 4.90.05.  However, an example would be nice if you happen to have one handy for future reference.

Thanks again,

RR

use a separate pane and use Gfx functions, it will give you full color/font control looks much better than the commentary. Also you can overlay your text on Charts... lots of nice opportunities.

Is there a way to get output written to a Guru commentary to appear either in italics, boldface, or a different font?  I already checked with support and using color is not supported like \\cxx.   Also, is tab supported?
