RE: [amibroker] Short History from QT Truncates Rest of DB??

I thought I would repost the below message to see if anyone can suggest a workaround.  I would have thought I could have symbols with different length data and display them all rather than all symbols being truncated to the date of the shortest data.

Comments still needed, thanks,

Ken

Subject: [amibroker] Short History from QT Truncates Rest of DB??

Situation:

QuoteTracker feeds a Real Time database.   Have had some 100 symbols collecting 1 min data since Sep. 2006.

One month ago, I added a new symbol to the QT interface, but I did not add the symbol to the AB database.

Today, I added the symbol to the AB database and all of my past data seems to be truncated....can only plot indicators as far back as the newly added symbol (1 month ago).

I exited without saving, opened normally, and all my data is displayed since last Sept when I first started collecting.

What am I missing, or what should I set?

I thought I would keep all my old data and just display the newly added symbol back for as long as it had data, but other symbols would display normally back to their beginnings.

Puzzling.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Ken
