Hello Out There
My buddies and I have been working on a Dividend Investment Plan that
includes investing in stocks, ETF's, funds, etc. that pay higher than
normal dividends (usually more than 7/1/2%) and also meet other
criteria listed in our plan. We are now tracking our investments using
several Excel spreadsheets. They include Total Cost Basis, Estimated
Market Valve, Total Gain/Loss (both div and non-div adjusted), Percent
of Total Sector and Total Portfolio, Dividend Yield based on cost
basis, along with numerous other items that we track. We also have a
linked spreadsheet that automatically adjusts our master tracking sheet
once we enter a div payment. The problem is that it is cumbersome to
used and requires a lot of time updating and copying and pasting
formulas when we add or remove a position. I was wondering if anyone
knows if AmiBroker can be used as a tracking tool like I mentioned
above that would be updated when the database is updated. If not, does
anyone have any other ideas or similar tools or programs?
Thanks
Dennis
