Mike,

I had to call customer service to get my account switched to the new  
service.  It is not "officially available yet".  I told them I did  
not want the automatic upgrade, but wanted the downgrade to data  
only.  I was told my monthly charge would be $37.  I was not  
expecting it to drop all the way in half, but I was very happy, and  
stopped looking into other providers at that point.  Of course,  
thinking about it more, the customer service rep could have made a  
mistake and given me the price for the 2 weeks prorated to the end of  
this month instead of the monthly rate I asked for.  I guess I will  
find out soon enough when the next bill arrives.
