Re: [amibroker] AB professional needed to run 100 realtime charts?

Hello,

This applies to REAL TIME QUOTE window, not to charts.
There is no limit on open charts.
Please also keep in mind that if you want to have 100 simultaneous
charts each refreshed every 1 second, your individual chart
formula MUST execute well below 0.01 sec.
You should therefore check if your formula executes below 0.01 sec
before you attempt to open as many charts. To check this
use Tools->Preferences, "Miscellaneous":
"Display chart timing".

Additionally keep in mind that if you want to process files using "exernal script'
- the script (if written in slow lanuage like VBScript) may take
longer than 1 second. Also unless you are using dual core/cpu machine
external programs that you run in parallel may "eat" your CPU.

Best regards,
