There are 2 issues with OpenTick.
One. The Adapter. The AB plug in is in Alpha stage. They have made
improvements but, in my opinion, they have a long way to go. They,
OpenTick, do not have a good understanding of how to write an adapter for
AB. Of course , 98% of all people do not have the understanding of how to
integrate with AB. So, since it appears that this adapter has a low
priority with OpenTick, it will take them several months to get a useable
adapter. But they are trying.
Two. OpenTick. Very hard to determine is this is going to a high quality
data feed. IN the past they have had bad or missing historical data. Also
the download speed has been erratic. They say that they have invested in
disk space, bandwith, servers, etc. to solve these problems. To early to
tell, for me at least, if they have fixed there problems.
They do show promise, but for now, concerning AB, they are a work in
progress.

Subject: [amibroker] OT- Has anyone heard of Opentick >?
I found this site called opentick and it states it has download
adaptor for Amibroker. Has anyone ever used this site. Also what
exactly is its function. Would this site complement Amibroker?
