What does this mean?
I am working with the Chaiken Money Flow (CMF) indicator from the AB
Library. The code is
CMF = sum(((( C-L )-( H-C )) / ( H-L ))*V, 21 ) / sum(V,21);
For some stocks CMF gives an {EMPTY} value even though there are
datapoints for each array.
Also the numerator gives {NAN} (not a number right) across the whole
range of the data.
If I change the denominator to (NZ(H-L)))*V,21 - I get all zeros.
Same thing if I change the numerator to
Nz(sum(((( C-L )-( H-C )) / ( H-L ))*V, 21 )).
What is more confusing, if I compare a stock listed both on the
Canadian and US exchanges, I get CMF values for the US, but not the
Canadian exchange (TD vs TD.TO).
If anybody can shed a light here it would be appreciated
Thanks
Rik
