Hi MyTake --

My book is intended to be about system design, testing, and validation.  The AmiBroker needed to illustrate the points I make is developed from scratch, all within the book.  While the book is not intended to be either a beginners guide to AmiBroker, or a complete guide to AmiBroker, I believe it is digestible by a beginner.

Let me put that another way -- in order to be successful using AmiBroker to develop real trading systems, a person will need to become proficient enough in AmiBroker that they will be able to understand at least a good portion of the book.   That's the nice way of saying that if a person cannot understand the book, then they will probably have trouble building robust trading systems.  I think the AmiBroker content in the book stands on its own, and I recommend it to all levels of AmiBroker users.

I know Bill Barack, have talked with him at length, and have been in the audience as he and Bruce Robinson presented AmiBroker 101.  Bill and Bruce's presentation is outstanding.  I also know Richard Boroff and know Richard was working very hard to get a high quality recording of this year's Conference and workshop.

Thanks,
Howard

Howard thanks for the reply,
Would you say that there are enough examples for the beginner to
digest?

Thanks
