Hello,
I don't know what you mean with "fresh copy".
If you install 4.90 over old version NOTHING like you have described will ever happen.
If you install AmIBroker 4.90 upgrade (as instructed to do so on the web page)
the setup program even checks for mistakes of choosing wrong directory
and will complain if you choosen directory which was not used by previous installation.
If you mean with "fresh copy" that you deleted old stuff or installed it in
different directory despite warnings or moved your AmiBroker manually after
previous installation without running setup program - then it is your (i.e. user) error,
not AB's.
I don't know why some people (like you) think that it is OK to put all the blame
constantly on software/me. I am getting sick and tired of whining that I hear everyday.
