Hello,
These are two different things. When I read your message for
the first time I was thinking
that you mean e-mail alerts and I have responded to you that
you have to set
e-mail account in Tools->Preferences->Alerts and that it
works fine.
It uses direct sending to destination server via SMTP protocol
using emailer.exe helper program.
File->Send chart via E-mail is completely different
story.
It does not use this path. Instead it uses Windows Default
e-mail client program (Outlook for example)
and so called Simple MAPI (Mail API) exposed by Windows, as it
normally pops up
with normal e-mail composition page where you can write the
text and chart is just attached to the e-mail
and indeed there seems to be some problem with that although
this part of the program wasn't changed
for ages. Will check it.

I have recently installed Internet Explorer
7.0
The setting in Outlook Express for other
applications sending email is set properly.
