I hope I'm wrong but I don't think there is an easy way to get that
data back as I have done something similar in the past and support
said there wasn't.
The problem as I understand it is the drawings are stored as part of a
"chart id" (you can see this on the parameters). In other words they
store the lines, etc. baesd on a symbol/chartID. If you close the
pane or lose the layout when you add the chart back in it incrmenets
the ID and there is no way that I know of to bring that ID back.
I hope I'm wrong but this is one of the few real bugs/annoyances of
the program; there should be a way to recover from this because it is
easy to do (I have done it more than once).
The real key is to back up your layout files and/or templates so that
in case you do this you can restore them and the panes are there.
Long term they should modify the program so that this doesn't happen
as I have not seen this kind of potential user error causing this
large a problem in other products.
Hopefully my info is accurate but unfortunately I don't think you have
a good solution.
