[amibroker] Mixed Eod/Intraday Data

I've been using AB as Eod database for a few months now and I'm consider switching to RT, but I don't want to pay king's ransom to eSignal (I need stocks, stock/index options, futures and forex). A few questions.

1) Help file indicates that mixed eod/intraday data is only supported by eSiganl and MarketCast-Australia. I think this statement is not precise. I created mixed eod/intraday data files using ASCii importer and the charts work just fine.

I think the more clear statement would be that eSignal and MarketCast are the only data providers that offer mixed eod/intraday data to feed to a single database in AB.

2) In the light of the above, I assume I could use CSI or any other source of eod data and then, during the trading hours, connect DTN, QuoteTracker or any other RT feed to the same database. Eod symbols would obviously have to be converted to match RT feed symbol format before being imported to AB (this can be easily done with a spreadsheet application).

3) There are two ways of constructing "daily" bars
a) from "eod row" in the data file: Ctrl+D
b) from compressed intraday data
   - click on "day session" button
   - if day session is set to 09:30-16:14 -> use 405 min bars
   - if day session is set to 09:30-16:01 -> use 392 min bars

4) How to fix the date vertical lines on 405 min chart so that they are shown only on the first day of the month, like the ones on eod chart:

There might be a way to somehow code the fix in:

SetChartOptions(0, chartShowDates);
