Is anybody using IB as their data provider and getting tick or volume
based charts? I don't know if IB delivers data in "Tick Intervals".
On the other hand I can get volume based charts in Ensign using IB as
the data source.
I just downloaded the software but because I have not bought it yet I
can't try out the volume/tick charts would someone mind seeing if it
will do volume charts with IB say a 1000 V chart, would really
appreciate it.

Hello,
Yes - it does, provided that your data-source delivers data in TICK
interval and you set "Base time interval" to tick in File -> Database
Settings (then you will be able to define your N-tick and N-Volume
intervals in Tools -> Preferences -> Intraday).
