Tomasz,
In the perfect Amibroker world,I would like a "user definable" benchmark and we could create a composite and do precisely what you suggested as well as selecting the asset of our choice.As for correlation,could one run the "explorer" and sort/rank the highest correlated assets? That would help regarding the correlation,R2 issue.I am not up to coding speed,so I am all ideas and no substance at this point!
I really like your idea,especially if we can have the option of creating a custom benchmark.
