at interactive brokers the head doesn't know what the tail is doing. I am thinking about switching to tradestation. Valuable time is lost and still there is no complete clarity what is going on.

  well one does not get the same bid and ask in my opinion. For certain you
  will not get pre markte and afterhours data / charts. I am pretty annoyed by
  this stuff which disabled my trading since the 30-th now. Apparently these
  folks at IB make a change to their servers but they treat their customers as
  if they are fools. It took me 3 trading days to get an idea what is going
  on. Now depending on how old your account is you can choose out the symbols
  you want to use. This sucks.
