exactly. I run 3 accounts here. One has a problem the other two do not.
That makes the problem even more complicated. Still it can be shown that for
the account that has a problem with the link to Amibroker is able to
download real-time and historical data just fine. This can be tested with
the application VB_API_sample.exe which sits on your computer if you have
downloaded the API software.
The problem must lie with Interactive Brokers :(( I am contacting IB
about this again. Maybe if others do this as well they will take the matter

The problem seems to our account with IB.
I have used the login of TWS of a friend and suddenly everything worked
find.
No invalid quotes any more.
