Thanks, but some of the symbols are different between the databases....
(many actually)
I want the new database to maintain its sectors/industries, and just move
the price data from the old database...

Hello,
If ticker symbols are the same in both, you can simply copy data files (from
A-Z, 0..9 subfolders)
from one database to another without copying broker.master and
broker.workspace files.
Note: backup first !

Subject: [amibroker] Help
I have two databases of daily data. One is brand new (no data) with a new
set of sectors/industries....the other has a different set of
sectors/industries, but with an extensive set of daily data. How do I get the stock data
from the old database to the new one, without messing up the sectors/industries
in the new database?
