Hi,
try this:
tn = TimeNum();
Color = IIf( tn >=080000 AND tn <= 140000, colorBlue,colorLightBlue);
Plot( 1, "", Color, styleArea | styleOwnScale, 0, 1);
Changing the last "1" you can change the width put it on the whole
pane or make a ribbon below the chart
