I wouldn't bother with downloading that file and running the
cleaner. It ends up deleting several thousand stocks and the
original file is so old you are never really confident you have all
the symbols. I am just getting re-setup again with Amibroker and
forgot how much of a pain something as seemingly "simple" as getting
data was the last time.
Another thing is to use PowerScan to run queries on the DB and remove
any stocks that don't have Ave Vol of 50,000 or whatever your volume
cutoff is.. That takes the original database down to almost 2000,
but obviously it's still missing every IPO like GOOG since 2002..
