[amibroker] Chart problem

I'm having a strange problem -- can anyone help?

 

Although I have "Quote selection by ctrl-left mouse button only" set, the bar still gets selected when I place my mouse cursor for more than a second or so on the bar (i.e. long enough to bring up the tooltip).  The cursor line doesn't appear but any "if.." loops associated with this bar execute.  How can I stop this behavior?
