You might try some pre processing using your 
Osaka plug in. Use it to develop and write out the top six industry 
groups in a AddToComposite array in the 6  (OHLCVI ) 
fields  A separate job 
step.   If you need the top 12 
then write out 2 ATCs.   
  
I choose to do this daily and before I get into 
daily runs or  backtesting runs instead of packing around the Osaka 
table.   
You can use Batman to an advantage here if you 
want to have your AFL in separate modules(job steps), one to prescore and the 
other job step to backtest.
