I admit to adding the mailing list to Gmane.  I did not do this in malice but trying to be helpful.  Mea culpa.

 

Note, all email addresses on their news servers are encrypted.  Below is image of first mail message since Gmane started receiving messages viewed from Usenet/News client and note the encrypted email address in reply-to as well as when double clicking and viewing the From field.
